The European Movement in Serbia strongly condemns Russia’s military aggression towards Ukraine and calls for respect of the United Nations Charter and the fundamental principles of international law. The citizens of Serbia, on their own example, have experienced the dire consequences of the violation of international law, when NATO forces attacked Serbia in 1999.
We call for territorial integrity and sovereignty to be respected, as well as for the application of the principle of peaceful settlement of disputes as a guarantor of peace and stability of Europe and the world.
The European Movement in Serbia is in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and salutes the citizens of Russia who raised their voices against the aggression.
